Let's dance

            “Let’s dance,” he said taking my hand.

            With all the music we were around together we had never danced.  We danced song after song.  I watched him watch me, smiling.  The music slowed and I started to go back to the table.

            “Not so fast kid,” he said.

            Kid?  Who was that anymore?  Not the same girl he had known.
