Magic Kingdom
Parker and I had a full day at Disneyland yesterday. I have fond memories of the park but it has changed so much. I don't think it is just my age, a lot of the magic is gone. It has gone more commercial, less magic, more money making machine. It is so crowded and lines so long on every ride, even the tea cups were a 40 minute wait. No wonder we saw so many melt downs by children, even for adults it is just draining. I really don't think it has become what Walt would have envisioned. So I visited again and think I have had my fill for a very long time. I realize my Disneyland is now on a tropical island, white sand, turquoise water, a cold beer in my hand.
